In preparing for my upcoming Reiki classes I was reviewing an article about starting a Reiki business. In the article it stated that instead of being jealous of other Reiki practitioners with a lot of clients, it is more productive to celebrate their successes. Essentially, their success is yours also. The more people that get Reiki the more it will benefit you and the planet.

The article stated: “Reiki comes from an unlimited supply and does not fear competition”.

When it comes to Reiki the more the merrier. Other people’s practice anywhere in the world will up your spiritual vibration. It is a truly beautiful dynamic and one that I’m constantly in awe of. I have personally never experienced competition in the Reiki world- only mentors and people at their most loving and generous. Reiki seems to have that effect on people. You also start to realize that the right clients will find you and everyone has their own role to play—one that we all play in a global community.

If only the rest of the world could be like this! Could you imagine a place where people didn’t frown on but celebrated each other’s successes? We are all guilty of feeling jealousy and unnecessary competition. When these feelings arise it helps to remember we all have our special place in the world and a very specific role to play. Abundance will find us if we are open to receiving it.
