The world is a stage, but the real action happens behind the scenes.
Real change in our lives occurs not by the actions we take but by the energetic changes and growth in our inner lives.
Our imagination is one of many portals to the spirit realm where energetic shifts occur. Other portals include prayer, artistic expression and meditation. For this post I will be focusing on ways you can make real change in your life by tapping into your boundless imagination. Trust, faith and loving intentions are key to working in this way.
Here are a few different exercises:
Conflict Resolution: Is there a person in your life you wish to confront? As a native New Yorker I relish the occasional confrontation-especially when I perceive an injustice in the world. On the other hand, I find the most powerful work happens through visualization. Picture yourself and the person sitting at a table. I like to imagine something professional such as a conference room, because for me that represents boundaries. Say what you need to say. Likely you two have some sort of contract that you are ready to let go of. Picture you and this person reading, signing and then tearing up the contract. Send them light, acknowledge you respect their path and say goodbye.
Releasing a Burden: There are people and situations in our lives that have the potential to drain us energetically. While you may try to avoid the person/situation I suggest you face it in a safe space. Imagine yourself in a store with a shopping basket. As you go through the store instead of picking up products you are picking up emotions (such as resentment and guilt) and putting them in your basket. Feel your basket getting heavier. Leave the store, then visualize yourself walking up to the person/situation and setting down the heavy basket. Picture light pouring over the person/situation, the emotions in a basket and you. Turn around and watch yourself walking away.
Achieving a Goal: This one can be simple, although we often feel we have to keep busy all the time to succeed. I suggest trying to take less action and allow more feeling. Feel like you have already achieved your goal. Pay attention to your breath and have faith.
As in all these exercises, I suggest calling in help. Personally, I find working with the Archangels very effective. Make sure to thank them!
Please know by doing this work you are helping us all by bringing more light into the world. However you go about making shifts in your life, intention is key.
I would love to hear from you and learn of any visualizations you use!
Positive thinking assists me in my everyday life in addition to reaching my goals beyond my wildest dreams. A deep feeling of faith and gratitude has the power to be deeply healing and transformative-for you and the world around you. I write a lot about it in this blog, usually in terms of manifesting, and I stand by my beliefs.
There is another side to positive thinking though. When it isn’t working it has the potential to create blame and self-punishment. It also may be an escape hatch to sitting with our emotions.
In order to manifest successfully, your thoughts need to match your feelings. For example: you can think over and over that you will find a job. But if you don’t feel confident, it will be harder to reach your goal. So instead of trying to control your thoughts (which sometimes does have a place)-pay attention to how you are feeling.
Are you feeling especially anxious, sad, or hopeless? It may be time to see a therapist or doctor as there are times no amount of positive thinking will help. It could be chemical, hormonal, or any number of physical issues. The point is: see a professional instead of blaming yourself.
You may think your thoughts and feelings are matching but you may have something going on in your energetic field creating blocks. Taking care of yourself through a daily practice of grounding and aura cleansing will help with this (attention empaths this is essential for you!).
There are times in our lives where we have to sit with our emotions. It isn’t pleasant so we look for a way out. This is a way positive thinking could be non-productive. If we try and distract ourselves we won’t learn the unique lessons of suffering.
I do want to reiterate my strong belief in the power of positive thinking. It just always isn’t appropriate and when it doesn’t work it has such potential for self-blame. This is of specific importance to me because what I have been seeing in my phone readings lately.
Be gentle yourself. Accept where you are at now and try to have faith in the future. If you are looking for assistance in your path contact me to schedule a reading.
Sending many, many blessings of self-love to all!-Julie
Everybody is intuitive and most people are proud of it. They may say “I knew it!” or “I went with my gut instinct” or “I just felt it was the right thing to do.” In fact, when someone announces a personal victory or success it usually relates to them going with their instincts. Of course, few people openly admit to being intuitive or psychic-but it’s all the same. We are simply not living in a time where it is accepted, but I do believe in our lifetimes it will be. I’m already seeing the changes and I’m sure you are too. The more people embrace and own their intuitive abilities the better! I understand there can be shame attached to embracing your true nature, but trust me you will feel so liberated when you do. Your world will open up, more healing synchronicities will occur and you will learn to have more faith and trust in the world. The people that don’t accept it aren’t worth your friendship. So let us embrace!
We all have different intuitive styles and I love working with people to help identify the style that best serves them. We tend to work with a few different ways in getting psychic information though usually one is most dominant.
First quickly scan just the bold and skip the descriptions. Does any one style speak to you? Then go back and read the characterizations of each:
Empath: An empath picks up information through feeling. Most people start off as empaths. Empaths need to be aware of absorbing emotions and be especially mindful of energetic boundaries.
Seeing: Some of us get information by seeing it in the mind’s eye. This most likely occur through images that are translated. Example: you “see” a roller coaster next to someone and realize life is up and down for that person. Some people see actual language. You can practice improving this skill by imagining opening a book and looking for a word.
Hearing: I “hear” information when I channel. I am not physically hearing the words–it’s more like I hear information in my mind as thoughts. It can be challenging at first to distinguish your thoughts and intuitive information. There are ways to practice this on your own or I can assist you in this through a phone or email reading.
Mental Intuitive: I started out as an empath and would now define myself as a mental intuitive. Through years of experience and practice I have developed a deep trust and faith in working in the Highest Light. Information comes through easily and simply for me now–just by knowing it.
Smelling: I have only met one person over the years that got all of his psychic information through smelling. Every once in a while I get intuitive snippets this way. For example–I smell alcohol and know there is an issue with drinking. For me and others with this ability-the smell is literal-like it is happening in the actual world-unlike other senses that are more virtual.
Energetically: I was attuned to Reiki over a decade ago and almost immediately started getting psychic information during sessions. If you are not attuned-go for it! It is a beautiful and healing way to take in information. Only convey information to your client if they verbally agree before they are open.
Tarot Cards: There are many, many mediums to tap into psychically. I can only speak to the methods I have had experience with. I began my interest in tarot in my early teen years and began reading them seriously in my 20′s. First I learned and studied the meaning of every card with strong intention. Once I got comfortable I didn’t need to look up the meaning of every card. I still use them from time to time.
I love coaching intuitively through phone and email readings. My greatest joy is helping people read for themselves or others. You can call/text 415-562-4851 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment.
One final thought: you are intuitive. You know you are! Just trust the information that comes through.
For many of us, the biggest hurdle in successful manifesting is not that we are being unrealistic in our desires. It’s that we feel we don’t deserve it.
What we are asking for is totally reasonable. Some of us want to get a promotion, find a life partner or quit an unhealthy habit. We are not asking for millions of dollars or to live in a mansion. Our desires are mostly at a basic level. Yet we sometimes still feel unworthy.
If you were to say: “Why me?”. I would respond: “Why not you?”.
Look at it this way:
When you manifest successfully you teach others to do the same and you and bring more love and light into the world.
If there is something you desire, likely you feel a psychic instinct that you heal a person or situation when you reach your goal.
Manifesting allows you to live your authentic self. This elevates all of us.
The next time you think you don’t deserve something you aspire to–think of all the healing you can do for the world once you reach your destined goal.
Let us all think of something we want right now and know that when one of us reaches our destination it will raise up the rest of us!
My Guides have been really aggressive in getting information to me today. I don’t think it’s any accident that a bag of frozen vegetables fell on my head! I wanted to pass on the information that came through in case it will be useful to my readers:
If you are not stretching, you are not taking care of yourself.
You must get rid of anything not in use. I want you to focus on unwanted gifts. If you choose to keep these gifts they will drain you as you are agreeing to take on unwanted energy.
You are sitting too much! Stand up more than you sit and while you are at it go barefoot.
Trusting your inner voice is essential in becoming more intuitive.
